It's Monday, and in the world of fantasy football that means one thing:  free agent time baby! Time to trim the fat off the ol’ roster and welcome some hidden fantasy football gems that could make the difference between winning and losing.  Good work with free agent acquisitions involves knowing who is low on the fantasy radar just before their stock goes through the roof.  But who has time for that? That answer is easy...the Docs.  These are the geeks that live, breathe, and talk fantasy football 365 days a year.  So just sit back, relax, and let the Docs do the work for you. Come check out FootballDocs Fantasy Football every Monday as the Docs boil it down for you nice and simple: who to watch, who to ignore, and most importantly....who to grab! Since each team’s needs are unique, the Docs will suggest players to pick up based on the significant positions in a standard performance fantasy football scoring system:  QB, RB, WR, TE, K, and D.  As always, thank you for visiting and welcome to FootballDocs Fantasy Football--“Where the geeks meet the gridiron.”

FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 16
PICK UP / DROP

December 17, 2007

Thanks for making another fantasy football season such a great success.  We hope that the FootballDocs Pick / Up Drop section has allowed you to grab a couple of players during the course of the season that were real difference makers for your team.  Being week 16 of the NFL season, your team is either fighting for the title, basking in the glory of a championship, or watching from the sidelines.  Either way, at this point of the season you will have to rely on the players that have gotten you this far.  Hidden gems and under producing studs have been weeded out, and it is time for the final curtain call on our Pick / Up Drop section.  However, if you are looking for those last minute decisions on who to start or would like some added insight on the match ups and games this weekend, be sure to check out our Bench/Start and Ask the Docs sections.  Both will be continued through the final week of the NFL regular season. For those of you still in the hunt, best of luck to your fantasy football team, and we look forward to seeing you at FootballDocs next summer for all of your preseason, draft strategy, and cheatsheet needs.

For those folks that venture into fantasy baseball to help pass the time in the football off-season, we dish out free cheatsheets at BaseballDocs Fantasy Baseball.  Feel free to check it out.

Wishing the absolute best to you and your family during the holiday season,

--the Docs
